gray seattle.not nice.

Seattle is...gray. literally.

While zoning in on my work computer - without even a blink - i sometimes hear the total misguided satement "today's a nice day."

"Today" is usually not a nice day--in Cali. terms. It just cannot be. Cali's "nice" day is: warmth, sun actually shinning, with tube tops w. sandals. Seattle's "nice" is just: no rain. It's not warm, the clouds r still heavy, with blk & gray Northface jackets draped over ppl's slumped bodies. Gray is only "nice" on accent walls of ur condo's 1/2 bathroom.

Clearly there's a difference of cultural definitions going on here...

ps. even if Seattle's not "nice" it is... in a quite way, poignantly beautiful.
